About the A.H.S. Monthly Meetings The monthly meetings are open to anyone over the age of 21 who is interested in the lifestyle, there is an $8 cover charge at the door for non-members. Many members and attendees stay and socialize afterward. Others move on to private pursuits or join friends, to do whatever adults do behind closed doors. Munchies may be available, but dinner beforehand is suggested. Fetish dress is preferred, but casual is always appropriate, and no one is expected to dress beyond their comfort level.If you are not a member you will be asked to sign a waiver/disclaimer form and present valid State Issued ID for admission. There is a nominal fee for non member guests. A.H.S. members should have their membership cards ready to show at the door. Even if you have attended prior events, you must have proof of age in your possession at every meeting. We try diligently to maintain a secure and positive social environment at our meetings with a special concern for the less experienced attendees. If you are inexperienced but interested in the BDSM/Fetish lifestyle, or experienced but just not familiar with our group, please review our Rules of Etiquette and Mission Statement before attending to learn about appropriate behavior at our meetings and events. There will always be a Sergeant at Arms present who is there to maintain security and offer guidance on matters of etiquette and secure passage to cars if needed. There will always be Operating Committee members present as well as experienced members who will gladly help newcomers get acquainted. Membership in A.H.S. is not required but it opens the door to many other events, lower costs, reciprocal groups and retail discounts, so most people who enjoy our meeting environment eventually become members. Camera and Recording Equipment Policy:
No audio or video recording devices will be allowed at any A.H.S. Meeting, Social, or Event. The Board of Directors reserves the right to confiscate any audio or video media contained within any type of audio or video recording device, EXCEPT within an A.H.S. authorized recording area at a special event. This policy has also been extended to ANY cell phone usage.
